Todd had always been the type to see the good in others. He wanted everyone to be happy and would go to great lengths to make that happen. However, over time, he found that his eagerness for peace and happiness for his community had left him feeling drained and powerless.

One day, Todd ran into Pastor Robinson in the bank lobby and talked about the power of letting go and forgiving. Pastor Robinson suggested that by releasing the things that weighed us down, we could regain our power and live a more fulfilling life. Just delete it he stated. Todd was intrigued and decided to give it a try.

He started by paying no attention to negativity. Whenever someone would say something negative, he would simply smile and change the subject. He also learned to laugh things off and brush off small annoyances. Todd realized that he had been taking things too seriously and that a little humor could go a long way in lightening the mood.

Next, Todd began to release and purge the things that no longer served him. He went through his belongings and got rid of anything that he no longer used or needed. He also took a hard look at his relationships and let go of anyone who was toxic or draining.

As he continued on this path, Todd adopted a don’t bother attitude. He learned to ignore things that were not worth his time and energy, and he discovered that he had more time and energy for the things that truly mattered.

But perhaps the most powerful lesson Todd learned was how to press delete. He realized that he was the editor of his own life, and he had the power to cut out the things that were holding him back. Just like the “ctrl alt delete” function on a computer, Todd could sanitize and sterilize his thoughts and decontaminate his spirit.

Todd soon found that he had regained his power and was living a more fulfilling life. He had learned that sometimes we don’t realize how much and what we carry, but we always have the power to choose. And by letting go, forgiving, and paying no attention to negativity, we can truly live life to the fullest.

Letting go of negative energy and thoughts can be a challenging but transformative process. By releasing the things that weigh us down, we can free ourselves from the past and regain our power in the present moment.

One way to see it that can be helpful is to think of your mind as a computer. Just as a computer can become bogged down with old files and programs, our minds can become cluttered with negative thoughts and emotions. But just as a computer has a “ctrl alt delete” function that allows you to clear out the clutter and start fresh, we too have the power to delete the negative thoughts and emotions that are holding us back.

Here are some tips for getting your power back:

1. Forgive: Holding onto grudges and resentment only harms yourself. Forgiveness is not about excusing bad behavior, but rather it is about releasing the negative energy that is weighing you down.

2. Pay no attention to negativity: Negativity breeds negativity. Instead, focus on positive people and experiences.

3. Laugh things off: Humor is a powerful tool for releasing tension and shifting your perspective.

4. Brush things off: Don’t let small things get under your skin. Focus on the big picture and don’t sweat the small stuff.

5. Release and purge: Let go of things that no longer serve you, whether that is physical clutter or emotional baggage.

6. Adopt a “don’t bother” attitude: Choose to let go of things that are not worth your time and energy.

7. Learn to ignore it: Sometimes the best way to deal with negative people or situations is to simply ignore them.

Remember, you are the editor of your own life. You have the power to cut out the things that are holding you back and rule out the negative influences in your life. This is the art of Troubleshooting. By doing so, you can sanitize and sterilize your thoughts and decontaminate your spirit, allowing you to live your life to the fullest.

Letting go of what weighs us down,

Is how we regain our power and crown.

Forgiving those who have caused us pain,

Can lift the burden and release the strain.

Pay no attention to negativity’s call,

And focus on the positive in us all.

Laugh off the troubles and ease the mind,

And brush off the small things left behind.

Release what no longer serves our soul,

And purge the baggage that takes its toll.

Adopt a don’t bother attitude to be free,

And learn to ignore what no longer needs to be.

We are the editor, in control of our mind,

With the power to cut out what’s left behind.

Ctrl Alt Delete, to sanitize and rinse,

And rule out what doesn’t belong in our defense.

Our thoughts and spirit can be decontaminated,

By choosing what we allow and what we have faded.

It’s hard to let go of what we didn’t know we carry,

But we have the power to choose what we carry

Letting go can be the hardest part,

But it’s the first step to a brand new start.

With a lighter load, our spirits will soar,

And we’ll regain the power we had before

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to you today seeking guidance on how to regain my power. I realize that I have been holding onto negativity, grudges, and things that weigh me down. I know that I need to let go of these things and forgive those who have wronged me.

Please give me the strength to brush things off, to release and purge all that is not serving me, and to learn to ignore what is not important. Help me to develop a “don’t bother” attitude and to press delete on all negative thoughts and emotions.

Lord, remind me that I am the editor of my life, and I have the power to cut out anything that does not align with my highest good. Teach me to rule out negativity and replace it with positive and uplifting thoughts.

Help me to keep in mind the phrase “ctrl alt delete” and to use it to sanitize and sterilize my thoughts and decontaminate my spirit. Let me remember that sometimes the things we carry are too heavy, and it’s okay to put them down.

I pray that you continue to guide me as I learn to let go and forgive. Grant me the power to choose what I allow into my life, and help me to focus on the good.

Thank you for your unwavering love and support. I trust that with your help, I will regain my power and live a happy and fulfilled life.

In Your name, I pray,

Amen.
