In a time where judgmental attitudes and automatic bias often reign supreme, it’s crucial to reflect on the remarkable power of forgiveness and understanding.

Today, I want to share with you a powerful perspective and reminder to those who hate and condemn: “Jesus dropped the charges.”

You see, it’s all too common for people to be quick to judge, to hold onto grudges, and to withhold forgiveness. But let’s take a moment to truly grasp the depth of this mindset. When we say “Jesus dropped the charges,” we’re acknowledging the ultimate act of forgiveness and compassion. Despite being wronged, despite facing ridicule and condemnation, Jesus chose to forgive.

Now, let’s bring this perspective into our daily lives. How many times have we been judged wrongly by others? How often do we find it hard to forgive those who have wronged us? It’s easy to fall into the trap of holding onto resentment, of allowing judgment to dictate our actions. But here’s the thing: just like Jesus, we have the power to drop the charges, and drop carrying others projections and imaginary issues.

Think about it. If God, in all His infinite wisdom and compassion, can forgive us for our mistakes, who are we to withhold forgiveness from others? Why do we allow the judgment of others to hold so much power over us? The truth is, their judgment has no real power unless we give it to them.

Instead, let’s choose to be more understanding and patient. Let’s work with people, despite their mistakes, despite their flaws. Find the good in them and find God around us. Let’s embrace the power of forgiveness and compassion, just as Jesus did.

Imagine a world where we all strive to be more like Jesus, where forgiveness and understanding are the cornerstones of our interactions. It’s a world filled with love, empathy, and acceptance.

So, my Loveshooters, I urge you to remember the powerful message behind “Jesus dropped the charges”, especially when they bring up your past! Tell them “Jesus dropped the charges. I don’t mind being the villain in your story because that story is not real or true, amen!” Let’s let go of judgment, let go of resentment, and embrace the power of forgiveness, especially during this time of Lent. Together, let’s create a world where kindness and compassion reign supreme.
